THE ART OF "CRUSHED CANS"
Food / Drink manufacture put a lot of effort and time into their design of products, as we know, from the design itself, the colour theory, colour matching, print and packaging, marketing, a lot of thought process is going into a product before it been officially on the market.
But we also easily forget this part, as soon we have consumed the product.
And with this personal project and my creative take on, I wanted to reflect the art and appreciation of the manufactures craftsmanship after we have consumed their product.
"CHILDHOOD MEMORIES"
Kinder chocolate always reminds me of my childhood, on my friends I used to have at this time, and the silly things we did as we been kids
It didn’t matter which friends house we gone to, someone always had some kinder chocolate at home.
Therefore I wanted to reflect the fun times within the creation of the photograph, and what better way then to do it with a game of jenga
"THE DAY AFTER/ SMASHED X-MAS"
Is related to two different scenarios, the day after the staff christmas party or the actually first day after Christmas. We all know the feeling when we went for a Christmas staff party the next day is always a difficult one, hangover, perhaps little memories and a trashed place.
The second version to look at is from the perspective of Christmas is over, we ate and drunk to much and overall feeling smashed.
"SATURDAY NIGHT TAKE AWAY"
I didn’t want to do the classic chesse pull or do a pretty layout of a nice cooked pizza.
Would you expect a perfect pizza when ordering from the take away ?Probably not.
You would expect the pizza to be a bit dodgy, maybe burnt on one or two corners.
Stuffed into a take away box, bagged and then thrown into a car and delivered luke warm to your door step.
Ripped apart, the garlic sauce poured on and ready to demolish by you
For some those images might look messy, for others they have intention and can relate to the the photograph.
For the right people they can see the careful thoughts of photos, that everything was intentional layed out to make the messy pizza relatable and yet still attractive.
When it comes down to messy images they need to be intentional, carefully though through and still look good.
